Hands-on architect on the billing and debt platforms: I design and deliver the integrations with the new billing system, and optimise the platforms for performance, reliability and cost. I raise observability — monitoring, alerts, dashboards — so we keep finding and lowering errors, drive standardisation of the stack to cut complexity and speed up delivery, and mentor teams on the modern stack and on using AI where it genuinely improves quality. As Technical Lead before that: unifying the stack, refining how we pay down tech debt, educating, mentoring and recruiting. 70% in the codebase, 30% in system design.

Led the product team that helps clients find instruments they can trade, and designed new APIs. Drove performance and scalability of the Java services: migration to Java 17, SolrCloud tuning, and the move to a Kafka event-driven architecture — designing, supervising and implementing the changes. Earlier, as Technical Specialist, I dockerised the services, started the migration to Kubernetes, and ran training courses on Docker, Kubernetes and Helm for many teams.

One of the largest crew-management systems in the airline industry, in Java, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle and ActiveMQ. I worked on scalability and architecture — startup time, long-running jobs, database design — built a performance-test framework in Python and optimised the CI/CD pipelines.

Software Engineer

Two roles at once: web developer for NATEK, software developer for Gemalto. I automated SIM specification generation (XML, Java SE, PDE, JUnit), built Eclipse RCP plug-ins and C++ tooling for SIM card production, and designed internal web systems, their databases and tools for managers.

Research internships

Where it started. In GE HealthCare's image-quality team I developed algorithms that improve the visibility of lung lesions in X-ray images, tested them on medical devices and discussed improvements with image-quality teams worldwide. At UPM Madrid: Fourier reconstruction (FORE) and regularisation filters for PET. MSc in Computer Engineering, AGH Kraków.
